Barbados real estate and game fishing link up

Barbados Real Estate and sports are linked in some of the Caribean's finest villa, condo and marina developments.

Known for it's luxurious beachfront living and easy-going ambience, Port St Charles hosts the annual Barbados Game Fishing Association's International Tournament.

Attracting regional and international entries from as far away as Canada ("Wench" finishing in a fine second place in 2013), the tournament is a 5-day celebration of the Caribbean lifestyle, as well as some fiercely competitive big-game fishing.

Headquartered at the Port St Charles Yacht Club, the Tournament draws entire families, with the young ones to be seen dashing about with rods and hand-lines while the adults weigh in, tell tall stories about the ones that got away, and enjoy some rum and coconut water compliments of the islands' Viking Yachts dealer, BOYSS Ltd.
